Christmas time

First of all, I wanna start this post wishing a Merry Christmas to all my readers.

It is finally Christmas time and with that comes the parties, the family time and the presents. But once you are at university, Christmas also means studying for January exams.
My holidays started in a good way. I could meet my friends and go out but I quickly realized that I had to study and that's when my holidays finished. I'm spending the whole day studying and that is not what you are supposed to do at Christmas.
Anyway, I still hope to find sometime to hang out with my friends and family, and, of course, the special days are to relax and I don't usually study much those days.
Don't get too stressed!

Love changes everything

Jaxon was laying on the sofa after a wild night. He had been drinking, dancing and taking drugs all night. He's just a 19-year-old guy who has a difficult life. His parents died when he was fourteen and he had to live with his grand parents. His friends think that he will never change, that he will never find love.

One day a teenage girl appeared in his house. She was with his best friend, Ryan, and she was crying. Ryan was feeling guilty. He didn't realize that a girl was walking down the street when he shot that guy, and now he didn't know what to do with her. Jaxon would have shouted at Ryan if the girl hadn't been so pretty. He had never seen a girl like her before. He stood up and walked towards her. "What happened?" Jaxon asked to Ryan. "She saw it" Ryan answered. Jaxon understood his friend and took the girl's hand. While he was looking at her eyes, he said "I'll take care of her, I promise". And he did. He made her promise that she wouldn't say anything and he started dating her. I he hadn't met her, he wouldn't have left drugs, wild parties and bad habits.

In conclusion, love changed his life.

Environment

Nowadays, people are really concerned about the environment but it is true that not everyone does something to save the planet. Young people are normally more aware of the risks of polluting thanks to the talks given at high schools.

We all know about air pollution because it is something that we see every day. You can see the vehicles exhaust fumes when people drive. We all use pollution products and fossil fuels every day.

Unfortunately, today’s world is full of energy stations, chemical waste, and light pollution. The ones who cause this, which are the factories, are the only ones who can stop it but as it costs a lot of money the do not do it and the keep polluting the environment.

I use to recycle everyday and so does the people around me. We are all aware of the risks of not doing it so we separate the rubbish. Apart of recycling, we try to save water and electricity as for the environment as for economics.

My future

When I finish my Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies I want to work abroad as a Lecturer to gain some experience being a teacher. I’ve always wanted to be so but lately, I’ve been thinking about working in a publishing house as an editor. Also, I wanted to specialise in editorial translation in case I end up working as an editor. It is very probable that I give it a go at least for a year and if I don’t like it I will prepare for the public examinations to be a teacher.

Fortunately, I have some talent for English and I am experienced at talking it so it is pretty easy for me. I think I won’t have to change my route because I am doing what I love and thanks to my parent’s financial support I am going to be able to study it properly.

Being professional is not easy. The first thing you need is being mature and that can be pretty difficult sometimes. Also, you will need to take risks to be able to start you way up in the career ladder and earn more money. Moreover, you will have to work collaboratively to develop projects. And what is absolutely essential is to love your work and do whatever you need to do to enjoy it and do it the best you can. That’s the best top tips I can think of.

As everyone, I have a few weak points that I should improve. One of them is that I don’t have enough patience to work in groups and I don’t have confidence in the others either so I need to revise all their work. Also, I have to improve my listening because, although I don’t have much problem, I would like to understand everything and that’s one of my main aims.

The purpose of education

Education is the base of today's world. It is so important that education is free and obligatory until you are sixteen. We all agree that a person who is not educated cannot give their opinion properly about a theme and can be easily manipulated. The problem is that nowadays people are not educated in the way to be able to think by themselves, they are educated to pass the exams and get a degree to work in the future.

Mainly, there are two types of education. On the one hand, there is the traditional one in which people are taught to be creative and to learn by themselves. This type of education rises the student's interest in studying. On the other hand, the indoctrination is the actual education system. It is based in teaching students about all subjects whether they like it or not. This leads to students studying just to pass the exams.

As education does not produce money itself, investors do not invest in it. They often forget that all the invents are made by someone ho has received education. If there had not been education, there would not be new things discovered and they would not be able to receive money or invest on something new. It is necessary to invest in education because it affects directly to production and earning money.

Today's assessment is very strict and focuses on student's marks more than in their knowledge. Although tests can be of some use to know what you've achieved, they do not tell you much more. It is really common that students just study to pass the exams and sometimes they do not really understand anything. Moreover, they study the subject but in two or three days's time they forget what they had studied.

All in all, nowadays education just focuses on being able to work in the future. This is a shame because it should create curiosity in students for them to be eager to study more and know about the world. It helps you to be able to think on your own and not being manipulated. This is why education is a worldwide human right.

Education

Nowadays, education is a very controversial theme. We are surer and surer that there is something wrong with it because almost any young person is totally polite. Even small children are trouble-makers. But, where is the problem? Is it the parents or the teachers?

As I see it, it is neither the parents nor the teachers although it is true that they take part in the children’s process to get an education. I think the problem nowadays is the media as a whole. Kids repeat what they hear and see and unfortunately, today’s TV is full of fights, violence and swear words. Also, it is true that young people are not used to earn a living so they don’t know how much it costs to earn money and be able to live well. They think they have the right to receive money from their parents when the truth is not that.

Moreover, also parents are not giving a good education to their children. When they realise their children are bad news they just put them in a reformatory in the best of the case. Normally they do not do anything, they just let him or her do whatever he or she wants because they are afraid. They should make an effort and try to raise their children properly.

Furthermore, when these guys arrive to school, do not receive a good education. Teachers are not protected of bullies so they are also afraid and the only thing they can do is bringing them to the head teacher. Also, education just focuses on passing the exams so they don’t become interested in the signatures and they throw up their studies. This is how they end up at the streets robbing banks and people.

Technology

Nowadays, young people can’t live without their electronic gadgets. They are ridiculously addicted to them even if they don’t admit it. They spend the day connected to the internet just to check their social media over and over again. Teen social media addiction is something very serious and unfortunately, most teenagers are in this situation.

On the one hand, technology has been a key breakthrough. Thanks to it, you can shop online, talk to you friends via Whats App, browse the web with search engines such us Google, probably the most important of the world, forward messages, etc. It has made our life easier and more entertaining. It is difficult to get bored now because you can always take your laptop and watch a film or a TV series. Also, you can be on the social media uploading things and seeing how your friends are going or getting to know new people.

On the other hand, being a techno-lover as we are today has its consequences. First of all, it can become an addiction as it normally happens and you won’t be able to live without you phone, tablet or whatever. Plus, you can get so addicted that you won’t go out of your house just to be connected to the internet. Also, it is very seen today that everyone takes more care of their phone than of their own life. For example, they cross the road without looking because they are busy looking at their phone screen. Moreover, it is decreasing people’s ability to relate with the others. A few years ago, when you went out with your friends they all talked to each other, now they are all looking at their phones and laughing on their own. And don’t try to take their phones away, because you won’t be able to do so.

All in all, although technology is a great help to our daily life, it has worsened our life too by making us more conscious of technology than of our friends and family.

Commercials

Nowadays it is impossible to watch the TV without watching adverts. It does not matter if you
are watching a TV film or a series; it will have adverts either in the film or in the break that is
specifically for advertising products. Even at the cinema there are advertisements before the film
starts. They advertise their own cinema and their promotions and, of course, other films.

But, do adverts affect on our decisions? Of course they do. They do it all the time. Most of the
adverts have a catchy jingle so that you will be singing it the whole day. It does not matter if it had
an enormous budget or a deep message. if it is catchy, you will remember the advert and the
product. There is also that kind of advert with a dramatic ending which is normally from the
government about car accidents where a kid dies or something like that. They do it because it is the
simple truth but we are not really aware of the risk of driving drunk or tired. Then, after watching
that advert, you will spend even a week thinking about it and having a correct behaviour while
driving. Finally, you will forget about it and you will drive badly again, but it has made you change
your way of driving fora week. And there are also those adverts which are so stupid that they are
funny and people talk about them. They are obviously made by experts on advertising and they are
part of a good marketing strategy because everyone gets to know their product like happened with
the beer Mixta. No one knew about it until they made that advert with the Chinese cat moving his
arm and everyone started to try that beer.

As I see it, the most influencing commercial l’ve ever seen was the one I have just talked about.
Mixta's advert was so popular that they started to make those cats and they sold it everywhere. It
was not for good or for bad because it was just a beer advert but it really influenced most of the
society because, who does not know this beer now?

Space Debris

Unfortunately, nowadays there is a lot of trash in the space. Due to all our attempts to get to know the space, we are damaging it and polluting it. Our researches do not seem to success and the only thing we are doing is wasting money. Space travels cause pollution and put us in a danger of falling parts of space stations.

These researches are made by companies such as NASA. To be able to make them they build space stations where they can live and work. Researches are made normally with the aim of discovering new planets which can be inhabited and also, to find life outside our planet. Moreover, they are also made to research about space travels for normal people. They are trying to launch space travels but first they have to make it safe because if it is not safe, no one will pay to go to the space.

However, these space travels have their consequences. The first one and more important is the death of a lot of astronauts who travel to the space to make these researches. The other, pollution. Space stations disintegrate with the time and the pieces stay in the space polluting it. Also, astronauts produce waste which stays there too.

In addition, they are dangerous. Apart from the risk of dying, these pieces will fall to the earth one day as it has happened in Spain, Brazil and Australia. They pollute the earth and they can kill someone when they fall.

All in all, although space researches are helping us to get to know the world we are living in, it is the simple truth that we are damaging the space and putting ourselves in danger. Is it worth spending a lot of money and polluting the space just to make scientists happy?

My experience as a sleepwalker.

As I don't feel like writing the story I'm developing in the blog, I'm going to tell my personal experience as a sleepwalker.

Being a sleepwalker is not easy. A lot of things, stupid things, are said about somnambulists. I've heard lots of things such as that we walk with our eyes being completely white or that we walk like zombies. I've also seen lots of films were these examples I've just mentioned are carried out. The most expanded thought about us is that you can't wake us up if we are sleep-walking because it could be dangerous. Even in WordReference if you look up for "sleepwalker" the sentence given is that it is dangerous to wake a sleepwalker up. Well, let me tell you that this is completely wrong. It is true that it isn't recommended because we can get angry and, maybe, violent but, dangerous? No, it is not. I mean, who wouldn't get angry if he or she was waken up in the middle of the night?

Let me tell you the truth. I've been waken up a couple of times. I'm still alive. I have not hit anyone. I have not got angry with anyone. I don't really believe in that recommendation but if you don't want to risk yourself, just guide the person to his bed or just simply tell them to go to their bed. Sleepwalkers always go back to their bed and if they can't, they just wake up like it has happened to me lots of times. We don't walk like zombies or anything, we are just normal people walking. In fact, probably you won't realise that person is asleep until you talk to him. Sleepwalkers don't answer coherent things because they don't know what you are asking, they just say what they are thinking about.

Overall, sleepwalkers are not normally dangerous and they shouldn't be feared as they are.

Chapter 5: The monster

-This girl is starting to worry me, Jason. -Said Alex once that they had left the park. That girl was everywhere. Was she chasing them or something?
-We have to become friends, I told you. -Said Jason without any worries. A girl wouldn't mess up his plans.
A little girl was running by the path. The path was full of sharp stones and dry grass. The girl was running frightened looking at her back hoping that thing wouldn't follow her. Suddenly, she crashed with something that fell and started laughing. She looked at him and saw a blond guy on the ground laughing and a boy next to him smiling. He stood up and shook the dust from his clothes. Then, he bent and caressed her hair.
-Are you alright? -Asked Jason to the little girl.
-Yes, I'm sorry. -Said the girl blushing. Her sister was always telling her to look at the front but she really couldn't stop looking backwards.
-Why were you running? -Asked Alex.
-Something was chasing me, something strange. -Said Lilith nervously.
-What happened?
-Well...
FLASHBACK
Lilith was walking around in peace, there was no one there, no one knew where she was. She liked to go to that country alone, it was so relaxing, and no one walked by so she wasn't in danger.
She was picking up flowers when something growled behind a bush. A black creature with red eyes suddenly came out from there and started running in her way.
Lilith run as much as she could. Her feet hurted but she wasn't going to stop. That thing was following her and it would attack her if she stopped.
The creature disappeared for a moment and Lilith breathed relieved. She stopped and smiled happily, she had escaped. It almost catched her but she was faster and more inteligent.
She was smiling satisfied when she crashed with something. When she turned around she saw it, she had not escaped.
END OF FLASHBACK
-And how did you escape? -Asked Alex. It was an amazing story.
-I started running again. -Said Lilith sighing and looking backwards.
-Are you alone? -Asked Jason.
-No, my sister Clea has to be looking for me. -Said the little girl smiling. Maybe they had seen her.
-Clea? Is she blonde? -Asked Jason smiling. If she was Clea's sister they could talk to her.
-Yes! Have you seen her? -Asked Lilith excited. She was only safe with her.
-Yes, she was looking for you everywhere. Let's go find her. -Said Jason.
-OK but, what are you names?
-Jason, and he is Alex.

Chapter 4: The tiny boat

The park was lonely. The top of the trees were moving at the rhythm the wind set. Just a little girl was playing with a paper ship in a puddle. Soon, that ship would break and the girl would leave but meanwhile she was playing there.
At the other side of the park, there was a girl who was looking for her little sister Lilith. She had been looking for her the whole day and feared that something bad could have happened to her. Although her mind was telling her that she would be fine she couldn't avoid thinking that she could be in trouble or she could have found those strange boys she saw yesterday. Those weird guys... where would they be?
-Once upon a time there was a tiny little boat... -Was singing Eve slowly while she was playing with her paper ship. Her hair was floating in the air and her eyes were crying because of the sand that was in the air.
-Eve, have you seen Lilith? -Asked Clea to the little girl. She was her sister's friend, she could know where she was.
The little kid didn't answer. She just continued singing with a lower voice and even more slowly.
-Once upon a time there was a tiny little boat, that could not, that could not, that could not sail... -Was singing Eve while she was playing with her ship. She was ignoring Clea. She didn't know where Lilith was, she didn't even care about it. That girl was always stealing her toys. She was her friend but sometimes she wishes she would disappear.
-Eve, do you know where she is? -Repeated Clea trying to catch the attention of the girl but it didn't work. Eve continued singing her song like if no one was talking to her and this made Clea really angry. Wasn't she hearing her or what?
Tired, Clea stood in front of Eve crushing her ship to catch her attention. The little girl, angry, stood up and shouted at her. It was difficult for her to make that paper ship and she had destroyed it.
-That was my ship! -Shouted Eve angrily while hitting Clea's leg.
-Where is my sister, Eve? -Asked Clea tired of that girl. Later she would make a damn paper ship but now she had to warn her sister about those kids.
-I don't know it! -Shouted Eve. -Make me a paper ship! That was my ship! I want my ship back! -Shouted Eve while she was splashing Clea with the puddle. Clea, upset, turned around and got near the trees where she had heard a noise. The guys from yesterday were lying on the shade taking a nap.
-I want my ship!
The little girl's shout waked them up suddenly making them see Clea next to them looking at them. They should be with the rest of the kids, not there.
-Hey. -Said Alex nervously. Was that girl chasing them?
-You should be with the other kids. Said Clea staring at them. She would have to inform about those kids who didn't behave as the others.
-When will we be able to do what we want? -Asked Jason smiling. He was too confident. Clea didn't like boys like that, less if they had just arrived.
-Do what you want? -Asked Clea incredulous. -Did you pay attention to the tour yesterday? You have to do what they tell you to do. When you do it, you'll be free to do what you want. What were you ordered to do? -Asked Clea waiting for an answer. An answer that was never made because the guys stood up and left without looking at her. Who were those guys?

Man in the edge

The man in the video was going to jump off a roof. He had had several problems such us the break up with his girlfriend and the lost of his job.

A man came out to talk to him but he realised that he was trying to distract him while they were preparing something on the road to avoid his death. He got really angry about that but his aim wasn't committing suicide, he just wanted to call the attention to make his girlfriend come back to him. When he was going to go back to the hotel room he slipped with the floor and fell crashing into the road.

Nuclear Weapons

Nowadays a lot of countries have developed nuclear weapons. Although nuclear energy should be used in a responsible way and just to produce energy, big countries such as the USA or Russia have used it to defend their country. It all started in The Cold War when they had to threaten the other country to not to be attacked but it hasn't stopped. Each day, more and more countries such as Iran are into the nuclear weapons thing and this is very dangerous. Nuclear weapons could destroy an entire country and cause a lot of negative consequences such as radiation and pollution.

I think that the best solution to this problem is to reduce the number of nuclear weapons. Another solution could be reducing their use as a weapon to defence another country and increase their use to produce energy.

Chapter 3: Go back with the group

Heaven's doors had just closed. Thousands of angels were touring the kids around heaven. The kids were paying attention, they tried to remember all they were told, places they shouldn't go and places they had to go everyday. They were also told legends and funny anecdotes. They were informed about the damned ones. They shouldn't talk to them.
Two of them weren't following the group, they were looking everywhere until they could escape. A group of people realised this, exactly the group of people that shouldn't see them doing anything strange, the damned. They had to keep an eye on the kids to see if someone had a strange behaviour and that was more than strange, suspicious.
A blonde green-eyed girl came to them with no expression in her face. She had pallid skin and a face full of life, something not very common there.
Once she was near enough for being heard, she cleared her throat to call their attention giving them a start.
When they saw her, the smallest one swallowed saliva nervously and that made the girl smile showing her white teeth and her small dimples.
-Why have you moved away from the group? You can't do that, you have to be with them until the end of the day. -Said Clea crossing her arms. Those kids were too old to be there.
-I'm sorry, we didn't know it. -Said the small one turning around, wishing that she left.
-We're sorry, we didn't realise it, we got distracted and the group left. -Said the boy with the long hair. He had a beautiful smile but those eyes... they were different from the rest, they were too shiny.
-I don't know where you come from guys but don't cause any problem or you will be expelled from here. Take this as an advice. -Said the girl looking at the small boy that was turned around waiting for his friend. Why didn't him turn around? Those kids were so strange.
-Thanks so much uh... What's your name? -Asked smiling the brown-eyed boy poking his friend for him to turn around.
-Clea but that's none of your business. Go back with the group if you don't want to get into troubles. -Said Clea going back with her small group that were watching the small kids.
-Alex, you're so stupid. -Whispered Jason once Clea couldn't hear them. -If they catch us, I'll kill you! I swear it.
-Man, I almost shit myself when I saw her. I didn't know what to do, I'm sorry. -Said Alex moving nervously, they were still looking at them.
-I told you that you had to let me talk. Now I'm pretty sure they suspect something of us.
-And now how are we going to escape from the group? -Asked Alex looking at the shadows. They were still there looking at them. They were really frightening.
-You've heard Clea, we can't. -Said Jason smiling. She was really beautiful and they had to be friends with her. She had to know who were the damned ones and it would be easier to find them and kill them.

Contrast paragraph

Johnny Rotten's and Rostropovich's music are very different from eachother. Johnny is part of a rock band so his music is loud and noisy. He moves a lot on stage and his concerts are wild. They use electric guitars, microphones and drums to play their music. Their audience are normally teenagers and they are normally played in pubs and discos. On the other hand, Rostropovich's music is classical so his music is relaxing and beautiful. He's normally sitting on a chair in his concerts and he plays music in a orchestra. He plays classical instruments such as violins, pianos or chelos. His audience are normally adults or old people who go to the theatre to listen to them while they are comfortably sitting on a seat. As I've said, their music genre is completely different.

Chapter 2: God save you son.

Angel's trumpets were playing on the background. Their wings were shining between the spring flower's roads. Thousands of excited angels were waiting the children's entrance from hell.
In the other side, there was a group of people, hiding in the shadows, waiting for the sinners to come in without realising they were there or even without knowing about their existence.
A few minutes later, Saint Joseph's gate was opened giving way to hundreds of relieved kids. Angels were clapping with fan palm branches the little ones' entrance in heaven while the damned were trying to hide even more.
-Come one, this is our chance. -Said Jason full of enthusiasm and nerves grabbing his friend's arm who was frightened. Cerberus would have a great feast after that. Alex didn't answer Jason, he just let Jason guide him because he wasn't able to move from there.
-How have you planned to sneak in? -Asked Alex stopping when he saw that his friend was queuing with the other kids who didn't realize what they were doing. Who would realize them when you are waiting for God's fogiveness?
-We'll go in with them, trust me. -Answered Jason. His eyes were shining. That was amazing. They were waiting the kids like if they were heros or something but hey were just sinners.
-You're crazy Jason. -Whispered Alex. He was more certain than ever that cerberus would have them for dinner that night.
-I ended up in hell for something. -Said Jason with a telltale smile. His eyes were red as burning coal and they were shining as if they were burning. If Sain Joseph's saw his eyes, he would send the guard to catch them.
-Your eyes, Jason. They are going to give us a problem. -Said Alex with a tiny voice.
-They won't look me in the eyes.
-Well, then remember Cerberus doesn't appreciate us too much. -Said Alex seeing how in two kids time Jason would have to walk in front of Saint Joseph and get the white tunic they had to wear there.
-Here we go man, good luck. -Said Jason moving his hand in front of his eyes. Alex got shocked. Jason's eyes changed from red to brown and his face became younger. How the hell did he do that?
-Next. -Said Saint Joseph holding the white tunic for the next kid. He gave it to Jason without a doubt. -God save you son. -He said when Jason had worn the tunic. -Next. -He said once Jason was in. He had continued his way, he couldn't wait for Alex. He had to follow the queue.
Alex tried to calm down before seeing the saint but he didn't manage to do it.
-God save you son. -Repeated Saint Joseph once Alex was holding the tunic. -You have to wear it to go inside. -He said when he saw that Alex was going to go in without wearing the tunic.
-Don't talk. -Jason was thinking from the queue, he could perfectly hear them. If Alex talked, he would notice that he was more nervious than usual and they would realize he was sneaking in. Fortunately, Alex put on his tunic without saying a word and went through the golden gate to, a few seconds later, join Jason at the queue.
-They didn't get us. -Said Alex with a victorious smile. He couldn't believe it.

Opinion paragraph.

Nowadays celebrities earn too much money. I's a fact that when you become important you earn a lot of money by means of publicity, interviews, photo shoots, etc. It is true that when you are a celebrity you lose your privacity and there are negative points of being a celebrity but that's what they chose to be and I think that they don't work as much as they should to get paid that much. There are people who work fourteen hours a day and don't earn even the 20% of what they earn. Being a celebrity is not a hard job even though the crazy fans can be a problem but they can de4al with it. All in all, it is not fair that the get paid so much for that.

Describing a person.

Laura is one of the best friend's I've ever had. I've known her for six years and I can say I know her pretty well. She's very friendly and ethusiastic. She gets very excited about everything and she's always very happy. She's that kind of person that can cheer you up just looking at her and that's very possitive. She can be a bit freaky but she's very kind and tries to help you if she can. You know you can trust her just looking at her eyes. As I've said, Laura is a really good person and I love her.

Dear Eli, you have used a lot of adjectives. It's well seen the personality of that person. Your description is very concrete. It is also well expressed. I can appreciate you describe her with a good point of view. It is notorious you good english use. The topic sentence has been well chosen. I can guess that you are a good reader. You've written a lot of details. The concluding sentence is a good summary of the rest of the redaction. I like how you have done it. Good work!

Guernica.

Guernica has been a very important painting since it was done. For a lot of people it means destruction, pain. For me it means losing your loved ones in a dramatic way. Losing hope. It makes me feel sad too for the people who lived during the civil war. It also makes me feel confused because there are a lot of figures and irregular shapes. All in all, it shows the negative things in the world.

Chapter one: Cerberus.

Hell's flames were burning as they had nerver burned. Fallen angels' eyes were burning with anger while they were seeing how limbo's gate was opening. Terrific children with frightening sights were coming out looking for God's forgiveness. Some of them would get it, others would return to hell as if they had never went out.
Jason, a teenager for Lucifer's eyes, stayed in there with Alex, his most loyal friend. They wouldn't go out, there were busy with another business. Soon, heaven's gate would open to welcome the newest hosts and they should be prepared. They would escape from hell as they could and then the most difficult part, sneaking into heaven.
-This is going to be impossible, Jason. We are never getting out of here. -Whispered Alex observing hell's gate's guard who were walking around. Their capes covered all their body from their head to their feet. Their faces were replaced by non-shaped images and their bony hands held a mallet. At a side of the gate, Cerberus was waiting to be fed by his owners. His three heads were carefully looking for a prey to eat.
-Probably we'll be next Cerberus' meal. Look at him, he's hungry, may we visit him? -Said Jason joking about the situation without knowing that Alex was really scared of the hell's dog. His six eyes were burning in hunger and his unsharpened claws were desiring to get new bones to be sharpened. One of his heads was licking its lips looking at the kids going into the purgatory, one of them would be his dinner.
-Does that make you laugh? -Asked Alex terrified because they could be discovered if they didn't move quickly. Cerberus would love to have two boys for dinner, especially them, they had been face to face with him more than once.
-Bah, as soon as he'll see such beautiful faces like ours, he will lose his appetite. -Said Jason laughing so hard that they called the dog's attention, they were putting theirselves in too much danger.
-He will cut out heads off if he sees us here! -Exclamed Alex getting out of there.
-Where are you going? -Asked Jason while laughing, Alex was too coward sometimes.
-We have to move if we don't want to be caught.

What's coming.

It's said that something inconceivable happened once. An angel and a demon. Both went through the purgatory at the same time, both suffered together while they still had feelings. The legend says that the woman seduced him and from that a girl was born. A little perfect girl, white skinned, red lips as blood, golden hair and blue eyes. The little one went to heaven with her mother while he went to the hell's flames. It's believed that the girl was brought up at heaven. This was an exceptional case, something like this had never happened before and she was the protected girl of God. She was the only one who felt, thought and the only one who knew what was going on. Some demons had infiltrated and were corrupting women. They say she fell in love with a red-eyed demon and that's the origin of them, the damned ones.

Writing techniques.

In our last class we were practicing three different writing techniques:

• The first one consisted in making topics from general themes. At first it was a little confusing because we couldn’t think about specific titles but then it became easier and easier.

• The second one was a brainstorming about one of the previous topics. You had to write ideas that came to your mind which were related to the main topic, even things that didn’t seem to be directly related to the subject. They would finally get joined together.

• In the last one, you had to make a kind of map with all the ideas of the previous techniques and connect them so that even the ones that seem to have no relation with the topic are included in the list.

In my opinion after using these three techniques, the most useful is the second one. It helps you to know what to write about in your essay and not to forget about anything. I’ve used this method several times. I use it sometimes to write essays but when I mostly use it is when I have to prepare a topic for an oral exam. I really recommend it if you have to do an essay about a hard theme or if you need to improvise a speech and they give you a couple of minutes.

All in all, I think that this was a very useful class even though at first it didn’t seem to be important.
